QA/QC E&I Engineer
Location: Normandy, France
Industry: Industrial Gases / Energy

We are currently seeking a QA/QC Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer to support a major industrial project in Normandy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Report to the QA/QC Manager and E&I Superintendent on site.
  • Ensure the quality and compliance of Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) installation activities.
  • Conduct site inspections alongside construction supervision teams.
  • Review, comment on, and approve contractors' quality documentation and construction quality files.
  • Monitor compliance with project specifications, international standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in contractor audits and quality assessments.
  • Manage non-conformities and follow up on corrective actions.
  • Coordinate QA/QC interfaces between disciplines, contractors, and subcontractors.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate QA/QC reports and progress updates.
  • Liaise with inspection bodies and local authorities when required.
Requirements
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation, or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience in QA/QC within industrial, energy, oil & gas, chemical, or process plant projects.
  • Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and quality management systems.
  • Experience with E&I installation inspections and construction quality activities.
  • Good understanding of industrial regulations and standards.
  • ATEX experience is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Mandatory Certifications
  • Electrical authorization H0B0 minimum.
  • Working at Height certification.
  • ATEX qualification.
