NES Fircroft are delighted to be partnering with a major EPC contractor who specialises in the offshore oil and gas industry. They are looking for two QC Inspectors to work on a major gas field development project in Türkiye.
The positions will be full time site based in Filyos and Izmir will operate on a contract basis for an initial 12-month duration for excellent potential to extend beyond as project work scopes develop.

The Quality Inspector plays a critical role in ensuring fabrication and construction activities meet the highest standards of quality and compliance. This position supports the construction team proactively by minimizing fabrication errors and ensuring all work is executed in accordance with project specifications, industry standards, and safety regulations. The Quality Inspector plays a critical role in ensuring fabrication and construction activities meet the highest standards of quality and compliance. This position supports the construction team proactively by minimizing fabrication errors and ensuring all work is executed in accordance with project specifications, industry standards, and safety regulations. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct inspections of piping fabrication and installation, ensuring alignment with technical drawings and quality requirements.
- Oversee and verify activities including:
- Flange management
- Hydrotesting
- System flushing
- Chemical cleaning
- Reinstatement inspections
- Perform quality checks on specialized scopes such as:
- Flare tower installations
- Riser balcony structures
- Sodium tank fabrication and integration
- Document inspection results, non-conformances, and corrective actions in accordance with project protocols.
- Collaborate with construction and engineering teams to resolve quality issues and support continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards (e.g. ASME, API), and client specifications.
- Participate in pre-commissioning and handover activities, ensuring systems are verified and documented. Qualifications:
- Proven experience in quality inspection within industrial construction, oil & gas, or energy sectors.
- Strong understanding of piping systems, pressure testing, and mechanical installations.
- Familiarity with inspection tools and techniques, including dimensional checks and NDT methods.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, P&IDs, and isometric diagrams.
- Relevant technical certification (e.g. CSWIP, API, ASNT) preferred.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
