The Quantity Surveyor safeguards commercial interests within the Construction Area by verifying quantities, completed work, and payment applications, and by assessing contractor submissions, changes, and claims under EPCM-managed contracts. The role identifies discrepancies and commercial risks and supports contract-compliant decisions in coordination with relevant project functions and suppliers. It requires practical Quantity Surveying experience, strong ownership, and the ability to work with limited supervision. Responsibilities:

- Review Bills of Quantities, scopes of work, schedules of rates, and relevant contract documents; identify discrepancies, gaps, omissions, and cost impacts
- Verify contractor quantities, physical progress, completed work, and payment applications; prepare independent valuations and cost assessments
- Review contractor submissions for completeness, accuracy, and contractual compliance, and coordinate required clarifications
- Assess variations, change orders, and claim, including contractual entitlement and commercial exposure
- Maintain audit-ready records, provide inputs to Cost Control and project reporting, and support consistent Quantity Surveying standards across the Construction Area
- Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Civil, or related fields
- 3+ years of experience as Quantity Surveyor on construction, infrastructure, industrial, or energy projects
- Practical experience in quantity verification, valuations, payment applications, change management, and claims assessment
- Sound knowledge of construction contracts, measurement principles, and commercial documentation
- Ability to analyze technical and commercial information and work independently with a structured, detail-oriented approach
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills; experience in EPCM or client-side project organizations is an advantage
- Proactive and self-driven, with strong ownership and the ability to work independently
- Structured, methodical and analytical, combining attention to detail with commercial judgement and project priorities
- Clear and confident communicator, comfortable with joint site measurements and constructive engagement across contractors, project teams and senior management
- Proficient in quantity-surveying, spreadsheet and reporting tools
- Language: English (written and spoken)
- Start: ASAP
- Duration: approx. 6-12 months with option of extension
- Scope: 5 days per week
- Location: 50%+ on site in Boden
