Rotating Equipment Engineer

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Rotating Equipment Engineer to join a leading engineering team delivering large-scale FEED and EPC projects within the energy sector. This is an excellent opportunity to work on complex international projects involving critical rotating machinery packages and collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams and global suppliers.

Key Responsibilities
As a Rotating Equipment Engineer, you will be responsible for the technical management and specification of rotating equipment throughout the project lifecycle, including:
•           Reviewing and understanding project and contract requirements
•           Preparing technical specifications, datasheets, and inquiry packages for rotating equipment
•           Managing technical bid evaluations and supplier clarifications
•           Leading technical discussions with vendors and preparing Technical Bid Tabulations (TBTs)
•           Supporting procurement activities through preparation of technical documentation for purchase orders
•           Reviewing and commenting on vendor documentation and engineering deliverables
•           Participating in factory acceptance tests (FATs) and equipment inspections
•           Providing technical reporting and regular progress updates to project stakeholders
•           Working closely with the Lead Rotating Equipment Engineer and multidisciplinary project teams
Occasional travel may be required for vendor meetings, inspections, and testing activities.

Required Experience & Qualifications
•           Proven experience as a Rotating Equipment Engineer on industrial, oil & gas, petrochemical, LNG, or energy projects
•           Strong technical knowledge of:
o          Centrifugal and reciprocating compressors
o          Pumps
o          Gas turbines
o          Steam turbines
•           Demonstrated experience in FEED and/or EPC project environments
•           Solid understanding of supplier management, bid evaluations, and equipment procurement processes
•           Strong knowledge of API 617 and API 616 standards (essential)
•           Experience preparing specifications, datasheets, and technical requisitions
•           Ability to work within contractual and project execution frameworks
•           Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal
•           Strong stakeholder management and technical reporting abilities

Desirable
•           Offshore project experience
•           Experience working within international engineering and procurement organizations
•           French language skills are advantageous but not essential
