Our client, a leading resources and infrastructure organisation, is seeking an experienced Senior Civil Designer to support a portfolio of major mining, energy, and infrastructure projects.
Working as part of a multidisciplinary engineering team, you will contribute to projects from early-stage studies through to execution, delivering high-quality civil designs across roads, earthworks, drainage, and supporting infrastructure.

Working as part of a multidisciplinary engineering team, you will contribute to projects from early-stage studies through to execution, delivering high-quality civil designs across roads, earthworks, drainage, and supporting infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop civil engineering designs and 3D models for roads, earthworks, drainage, and non-process infrastructure.
- Produce detailed drawing packages, including plans, profiles, drainage, pavement, utilities, and swept path assessments.
- Collaborate with engineers and project stakeholders to deliver integrated design solutions.
- Manage geospatial, survey, and LiDAR data to support design development.
- Assist with GIS mapping and spatial data requirements.
- Ensure designs comply with relevant standards and project requirements.
- Participate in design reviews, project meetings, and technical discussions.
- Deliver work in line with project schedules, budgets, and quality expectations.
- 8+ years' experience in a Senior Civil Designer role.
- Strong background delivering civil infrastructure projects within mining, resources, energy, or heavy industry.
- Advanced proficiency with 12d Model and Bentley MicroStation.
- Experience in road design, earthworks, drainage, and technical design documentation.
- Exposure to GIS platforms such as ArcGIS Pro, Global Mapper, or similar.
- Familiarity with BIM and 3D design environments.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
- Diploma of Civil Engineering or a related qualification preferred.
- Experience with 12d customisation and macros will be highly regarded.
