Senior Electrical Engineer FIFO | Processing Plant Environment | Long-Term Opportunity
 
We are seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to support a large-scale processing operation, focusing on electrical maintenance engineering, reliability improvement, and project scoping.
This is a hands-on engineering role where you'll work closely with operations and maintenance teams to identify improvements, troubleshoot plant issues, and scope projects that improve reliability and throughput. 

Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support for electrical assets across a fixed processing plant.
  • Lead fault finding, root cause analysis, and reliability improvement initiatives.
  • Scope and develop sustaining capital and improvement projects.
  • Partner with operations, maintenance, and project teams to deliver practical engineering solutions.
  • Monitor plant performance and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Mentor and support junior engineers where required. 
About You
  • Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering.
  • Strong background in maintenance engineering and project scoping.
  • Experience within mining, minerals processing, heavy industry, or similar environments.
  • Exposure to HV/LV systems, VSDs, motors, switchgear, control systems, and plant electrical infrastructure.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Values-driven, collaborative, and capable of building strong working relationships.
