Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary engineering and construction teams to support project execution and ensure compliance with applicable industry standards and project requirements. Projects may include LNG facilities, marine terminals, and gas processing facilities.
• Prepare and review piping layouts, fabrication isometric drawings, equipment arrangements, and 3D models using S3D, E3D, or PDMS.
• Develop complex piping routing solutions within congested multi-discipline plant environments with consideration for constructability, accessibility, operability, maintenance access, and installation requirements.
• Support piping routing, layout development, model coordination, and interdisciplinary design integration activities.
• Ensure designs comply with applicable project specifications, client requirements, and piping codes and standards including ASME, ANSI, and API.
• Participate in 3D model reviews, constructability reviews, clash detection activities, and interdisciplinary coordination meetings to identify and resolve routing conflicts and interface issues.
• Interface with multidisciplinary teams including mechanical, civil, structural, electrical, instrumentation, process, and stress engineering disciplines to support integration of piping systems.
• Support construction, field engineering, commissioning, startup, and as-built activities by addressing technical questions, responding to RFIs, resolving installation-related issues, and assisting with model and drawing updates.
• Support brownfield modifications, piping design revisions, and incorporation of field markups, redlines, and as-built updates into piping deliverables and 3D models.
• Coordinate with fabrication, construction, and field engineering teams to support installation activities in active construction or operating facilities.
• Participate in design reviews, HAZOP studies, technical discussions, and coordination meetings.
• Support preparation and verification of engineering deliverables including piping layouts, fabrication isometrics, line list verifications, and material take-offs (MTOs).
