Senior Metering Engineer
Location: Onshore Operations / Expansion & Start-Up Projects

Job Purpose
Lead the development, implementation, and integrity assurance of metering systems for expansion and start-up projects. Provide technical expertise in flow measurement, metering equipment, and instrumentation while ensuring compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and operational objectives.

Job Purpose
Lead the development, implementation, and integrity assurance of metering systems for expansion and start-up projects. Provide technical expertise in flow measurement, metering equipment, and instrumentation while ensuring compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and operational objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement metering engineering plans, specifications, and standards for project execution and operational readiness.
- Coordinate the installation, calibration, testing, and commissioning of metering systems to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, and project teams to integrate metering systems into facility designs.
- Conduct audits, inspections, and performance assessments of metering systems to ensure compliance and identify improvement opportunities.
- Provide technical support on metering equipment integrity, vendor evaluations, and quality assurance activities.
- Prepare technical scopes of work, support tender evaluations, budgeting, and contract-related activities.
- Liaise with regulatory authorities, certification bodies, vendors, and service providers to ensure compliance with applicable standards and requirements.
- Participate in risk assessments, emphasizing safety, reliability, environmental compliance, and project readiness.
- Monitor industry developments and recommend innovative metering technologies and best practices.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Instrumentation Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 6 years of experience in oil & gas, petrochemical, process plant, or power generation industries.
- At least 4 years of specialized experience in flow measurement and metering systems.
- Experience with flow computers, metering equipment, calibration, commissioning, and instrumentation integrity.
- Knowledge of flow measurement standards and metering practices.
- Experience with metering software and flow computer applications (e.g., flow calculation and measurement systems).
- Familiarity with asset/data management systems such as Meridium or equivalent.
- Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel).
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
