Senior Process Engineer - ETO
 
Contract period: 01.10.2026 - 31.03.2027
Location: Lysaker

Main tasks:
  • Deliver technically sound and compliant process engineering solutions.
  • Ensure process safety requirements are incorporated into designs.
  • Maintain quality, schedule, and budget objectives for assigned work.
  • Provide expert technical support to projects and operations.
  • Drive engineering excellence and knowledge sharing across the organisation.

Qualifications:
  • Master’s degree in Process Engineering, Chemical Engineering or related discipline.
  • Proven experience in engineering projects, from concept development through detailed design and commissioning.
  • Strong knowledge of applicable engineering standards, codes, and industry practices.
  • Experience with process simulation and engineering software such as Symmetry, AVEVA, Aspen HYSYS, Aspen Plus, PIPEPHASE, Flarenet, or equivalent.
  • Good multidisciplinary understanding with strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Analytic mindset with a drive to bridge technical and commercial challenges.
  • Experience interfacing clients, partners, and contractors. 
  • 8-10 years’ overall experience in Process Engineering.
  • Strong knowledge and competence in process engineering principles and practices.
  • Sound understanding of thermodynamics, fluid flow, heat transfer, and process equipment design.
  • Good knowledge of separation processes and utility systems.
  • In-depth knowledge of process engineering deliverables and design methodologies.
  • Knowledge of process safety principles, including HAZID, HAZOP, LOPA, and risk assessment techniques.
  • Ability to work effectively across multiple engineering disciplines.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in process simulation and engineering software tools
