Senior Project Engineer – Installation Methods

Overview We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Engineer – Installation Methods to support major offshore and subsea installation projects. This long-term contract opportunity involves the development of installation methodologies, engineering studies, operational procedures, and technical support throughout project execution. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, efficient, and successful offshore operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and lead installation methods for offshore construction projects.
  • Prepare engineering calculations, procedures, analyses, and installation documentation.
  • Coordinate technical activities with project teams and stakeholders.
  • Support tendering and project execution phases with technical expertise.
  • Interface with suppliers, fabrication yards, and offshore assets.
  • Provide technical support during offshore installation campaigns.
  • Contribute to risk assessments, constructability reviews, and operational planning.
  • Mentor and support junior engineers where required.
Requirements
  • Degree in Mechanical, Civil, Marine, Naval Architecture, Offshore Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Significant experience in offshore installation engineering.
  • Strong knowledge of subsea pipeline installation methods, including:
    • Reel-Lay
    • S-Lay
    • J-Lay
  • Experience preparing installation studies and offshore procedures.
  • Ability to lead engineering activities and coordinate multidisciplinary teams.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Fluent English required.
