As part of its continued growth, the company is seeking a Senior Treasury Financing Specialist to support treasury and financing activities within its Malaysia operations.
Role Overview Reporting to the Country Treasury Manager, the Senior Treasury Financing Specialist will provide execution and administrative support across financing transactions, lender coordination, documentation management, and compliance monitoring.
This is a hands-on role ideal for a highly organized and detail-oriented treasury professional seeking exposure to large-scale financing facilities, project financing transactions, and cross-functional stakeholder management within a fast-paced infrastructure environment.

Key Responsibilities Financing Administration & Transaction Support
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders throughout financing transactions and refinancing exercises.
- Prepare and compile documentation required for financing processes, including KYC submissions, bank account opening documentation, and lender information requests.
- Draft and prepare drawdown notices, rollover notices, utilisation requests, and supporting schedules for management review.
- Support communication and correspondence with banks, legal advisors, valuers, and other external parties.
- Maintain and manage financing documentation repositories, ensuring executed agreements, schedules, amendments, and supporting documents are properly organized and accessible.
- Monitor document execution processes and follow up on approval and signature workflows to completion.
- Maintain financing-related trackers and registers, including guarantees, contractual assignments, valuation reports, and key financing documentation.
- Coordinate with valuers, surveyors, and consultants to facilitate asset and land valuation exercises supporting loan reviews and financing requirements.
- Compile supporting documentation for lender submissions, including invoices, certifications, project progress reports, and consultant sign-offs required for drawdowns.
- Maintain ongoing tracking of financing obligations, Conditions Precedent (CP), and Conditions Subsequent (CS), escalating potential compliance risks or impending deadlines when necessary.
- Support the preparation of periodic lender reporting packages, including:
- Compliance certificates
- Loan utilization reports
- Project progress updates
- Financial information packs
- Sustainability and ESG-related reporting requirements
- Assist in ensuring timely submission of documentation required under financing agreements.
- Liaise with Finance, Legal, Project, and Operational teams to gather information required for lender reviews, audits, financing transactions, and ongoing reporting obligations.
- Coordinate scheduling of lender meetings, site visits, inspections, and document exchanges.
- Support communication between internal departments and external financing partners.
- Assist with treasury-related account administration and process documentation.
- Support treasury system enhancements, process optimization, and automation initiatives.
- Participate in ad-hoc treasury, financing, and corporate finance projects as assigned.
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Banking, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in:
- Corporate Treasury
- Corporate or Wholesale Banking
- Transaction Banking
- Project Finance
- Audit or Financial Services
- Working knowledge of:
- Loan and facility documentation
- Security documentation
- Financing administration and compliance requirements
- Treasury processes and controls
- Banking operations and credit facilities
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial reporting tools.
- Experience supporting syndicated loans, project financing, sustainability-linked financing, or structured financing transactions is advantageous.
- Familiarity with Islamic financing structures would be an added advantage.
