Role Summary/Purpose:
  1. Responsible for establishing a Project Quality Management Plan (Quality Plan) in agreement with the Project Director, and Project Quality Leader, Site Manager in compliance with client and customer requirements.
  2. Establish a verification plan to assure compliance to the Quality Plan at all parts of the project.
  3. Responsible to report and escalate, to the project team, about the Quality matters.
  4. Assist in the preparation of project specific procedures and quality deliverables.
  5. Act as the main quality representative at site, towards the customer.
  6. Implementation of QMS, Compliance to ISO 9001 requirements, local regulations and project specific plans.
Essential Responsibilities
  1. Preparation:
  1. Ensure compliance with EHS requirement established at project Site.
  2. Review of Quality Plan and Quality Assurance (QA) requirements as part of contract familiarisation.
  3. Establish project specific methods, or procedures driven by customer requirements (most of the process & procedures are already established).
  4. Familiarize and execute according to the Inspection & Test Plan, Method Statement & Inspection Sheets, ensuring it covers the contract specific requirements.
  5. Report for any deviations to the approved documents & QA requirements. Liaise with Project Quality & Site Manager to discuss any impact to project schedul
  6. Review & Implement project specific documentation. If deviation of QA requirements updates the standard requirements to include the project specific. Liaise with Site Manager & Quality Leader to discuss.
  7. Analyze & Implement the Lessons Learnt from previous inspections , and propose improvement actions that could be applicable to the project.
  8. Establish the project audit plan (System & Process)
  9. Initiate and drive the criticality assessment
 
  1. Execution:
  1. Conduct project audits- Implemented in the Project Quality Plan (Quality Audits, Spot checks, Quality Verifications, Quality Communication, etc.)
  1. Control and distribution of documents
  2. Control of measurement and tests devices
  3. Storage and preservation
  4. Welding process
  5. Painting process
  6. Material traceability
  7. Personal qualifications for special processes
  8. Quality records
  9. Foreign Material Exclusion
  10. Implementation of Corrective actions from audit
 
  1. Review ITP’s and Site Documentation Requirements.
  2. Collect, verify and organize quality records. Plan, perform and follow-up actions from Site Meetings.
  3. Coordinate Notification of Inspections and verify relevant documentation and the inspection outcome.
  4. Coordinate and follow up the closure of the punch list items and/or NCMs resulted from the Inspections. Ensure that there are mechanisms to capture the punch items & follow-up until closure
  5. Assist to prepare monthly statistics of non-conformance reporting occurring in our products, processes and systems."
  6. Assist in preparation of root cause analysis and propose corrective actions for metrics with negative trend development.
 
  1. Closure:
  1. Prepare and drive closure from the open items (Punchlist, NC, Site Memo’s)
  2. Ensure that all the project dossiers are closed
  3. Coordinate and document the handover milestones to the Next Step.

  Qualifications / Requirements
  • Degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical are preferred) from an accredited university or college; or equivalent
  • Experienced, with a background in Quality and/or Engineering and/or Manufacturing/Shop Operations/8D/RCA, Risk Management, Cost of Quality Management, Customer Management, APQP
  • Ability to read and comprehend technical drawings is requested.
  • Proficiency in English, both written and oral; and preferably other languages
Organization
  • Ability to influence others and lead small teams.
  • Effective problem identification and solution skills
