We are seeking an experienced Specialist Geologist to support a major exploration and resource development project. This role will lead drilling and field programs, deliver high-quality geological outcomes, and contribute to resource growth, project advancement and technical excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and oversee drilling programs to support exploration and resource objectives.
- Manage geological data collection, interpretation and QA/QC processes.
- Contribute to geological modelling, exploration targeting and resource evaluation.
- Coordinate field activities and manage drilling contractors and service providers.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver project outcomes.
- Provide technical mentoring and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Degree qualified in Geology, Earth Sciences or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated experience in exploration, resource development or mine geology.
- Proven capability in drill program planning and execution.
- Strong understanding of geological logging, sampling and data management.
- Experience with geological modelling, GIS and database systems.
- Ability to manage contractors, stakeholders and field-based programs.
- Geological interpretation and exploration targeting
- Drill program design and execution
- Leapfrog Geo, ArcGIS Pro or similar platforms
- Geological databases and data management
- Downhole geophysics and resource evaluation
