NES Fircroft is recruiting for an experienced Telecommunications Commissioning Supervisor to support a major project in Antwerp, Belgium.
You will take a lead role in the pre-commissioning and commissioning of telecommunications and security systems, ensuring safe execution, successful interface/loop-check completion, and compliant handover to the client.

You will take a lead role in the pre-commissioning and commissioning of telecommunications and security systems, ensuring safe execution, successful interface/loop-check completion, and compliant handover to the client.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate telecoms pre-commissioning and commissioning activities.
- Develop and manage loop check, interface test, and commissioning schedules.
- Review and support Vendor/Contractor SAT procedures, documentation, and reporting.
- Supervise contractors, subcontractors, and vendors during SAT, integration testing, and commissioning.
- Create and/or review commissioning test procedures (CTPs) ensuring alignment with specifications, standards, and client requirements.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and coordinate resolution of technical issues across disciplines.
- Manage commissioning documentation including NCRs, punch lists, test results, and handover packs.
- Ensure compliance with HSE, Permit to Work, RAMS, and project procedures.
- Support final acceptance and handover of telecom/security systems to the client.
- Proven experience in Telecommunications / Telecoms / Security Systems commissioning on large industrial/energy projects (petrochemical/offshore/industrial highly desirable).
- Strong knowledge of interfaces, loop checks, SAT, and commissioning best practice.
- Comfortable supervising vendors/contractors and coordinating across multiple disciplines.
- Strong documentation discipline (reports, test packs, punch lists, handover).
- Good communication skills and a strong commitment to safety and quality.
- Engineering qualification in Telecommunications / Controls / Electrical (or similar) preferred.
- On-site role in Antwerp; Belgium/European-based candidates (or those able to work in Belgium for the project duration) are strongly preferred.
- European project experience and previous experience working on major industrial or energy projects would be highly advantageous.
