Test Engineer - Controls Perth Based | 5/2 Roster | Cutting-Edge Decarbonisation Projects
An exciting opportunity exists for a Test Engineer - Controls to join a high-performing engineering team delivering innovative infrastructure, automation, and electrification projects. You'll play a key role in testing, validation, and integration activities for emerging technologies that are shaping the future of industry.

An exciting opportunity exists for a Test Engineer - Controls to join a high-performing engineering team delivering innovative infrastructure, automation, and electrification projects. You'll play a key role in testing, validation, and integration activities for emerging technologies that are shaping the future of industry.
What You'll Be Doing
- Develop requirements, test plans, and validation strategies for complex engineering projects.
- Coordinate and manage specialist vendor packages across controls, automation, and robotics.
- Support system integration across multiple engineering disciplines.
- Execute testing and commissioning activities in Perth-based facilities and occasionally on site.
- Produce technical documentation and engineering deliverables to support project execution.
- Degree qualified in Electrical, Controls, Software, Mechatronic Engineering or similar.
- 2+ years' experience in mining, industrial, energy, infrastructure, or related sectors.
- Strong stakeholder management and project coordination skills.
- Experience using tools such as Microsoft Office, SharePoint, Confluence, JIRA, and document management systems.
- Exposure to Python, Simulink, or Power BI will be highly regarded.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Work on industry-leading electrification and automation projects.
