Turnaround Materials Coordinator

Position Summary The Turnaround Materials Coordinator is responsible for developing and managing the overall Turnaround (TAR) materials management strategy to ensure materials are received, stored, staged, tracked, and delivered efficiently in support of safe and successful execution. This role serves as the primary link between Procurement, Warehouse Operations, Logistics, Planning, and Field Execution teams. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the overall Turnaround materials management strategy.
• Establish processes for receiving, storing, staging, tracking, and issuing materials.
• Establish and manage material kitting processes to ensure complete, accurate, and timely delivery of materials for turnaround work. Coordinate kit assembly, staging, and tracking activities to support efficient execution.
• Coordinate laydown areas, storage locations, staging sites, and material flow paths with the Logistics Coordinator.
• Support planners by validating material handling assumptions and readiness plans.
• Identify and mitigate material-related risks that could impact safety, productivity, or schedule.
• Establish clear interfaces between Procurement, Warehouse, Logistics, Contractors, and Field teams.
• Ensure material readiness supports execution sequencing and critical path activities.

Required Qualifications

• Experience in turnaround, shutdown, maintenance, construction, warehouse operations, or materials management.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of material handling, inventory management, and warehouse practices.
• Ability to coordinate effectively across multiple organizations and stakeholders.
• Proficiency with spreadsheets, material tracking systems, and planning tools.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting large industrial turnarounds or outages.
• Knowledge of Oracle eAM or similar CMMS systems.
• Experience with laydown planning, logistics coordination, and material staging.
