We're looking for a safety-focused and proactive electrical professional who can thrive in an underground mining environment.
- WA A Grade Electrical Licence
- HV Switching qualification and experience working on HV networks
- Minimum 3 years' post-trade maintenance experience within underground mining operations
- Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to read and interpret electrical schematics
- Team-oriented attitude with a strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship
This position forms part of a high-performing underground fixed plant maintenance team responsible for maintaining critical electrical infrastructure across the operation.
- Maintain and repair underground electrical and instrumentation equipment to maximise plant availability
- Conduct HV switching activities and support the reliability of the site's HV network
- Perform preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs across fixed plant assets including crushers, winders and associated infrastructure
- Monitor equipment performance, identify defects and raise maintenance notifications through SAP or similar systems
- Work closely with operations and maintenance teams to ensure safe and efficient production outcomes
