Role - Data Center Specialist 📍 Location: Abu Dhabi / Sharjah, UAE
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Data Center Specialist to lead the design, implementation, commissioning, operation, and optimization of mission-critical data center infrastructure. The role requires strong expertise across electrical, mechanical, ICT, cooling, fire protection, security, BMS, and DCIM systems, ensuring maximum uptime, reliability, and compliance with international standards.

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Data Center Specialist to lead the design, implementation, commissioning, operation, and optimization of mission-critical data center infrastructure. The role requires strong expertise across electrical, mechanical, ICT, cooling, fire protection, security, BMS, and DCIM systems, ensuring maximum uptime, reliability, and compliance with international standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead data center design reviews, engineering approvals, and technical evaluations.
- Oversee installation, testing, commissioning (FAT/SAT/IST), and project delivery.
- Manage operations and maintenance of critical infrastructure systems.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and perform root cause analysis.
- Ensure compliance with Uptime Institute, TIA-942, ASHRAE, NFPA, and related standards.
- Support technical proposals, client engagements, and pre-sales activities.
- Mentor engineering teams and drive best practices across projects.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics, ICT, or related field).
- 15+ years of experience in data center design, commissioning, operations, and maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of critical facility infrastructure and international data center standards.
- Proven leadership and stakeholder management skills.
