Underground Service Crew
NES Fircroft is seeking experienced underground Service Crew for an initial three-month engagement at a major underground mining operation on a 7/7 roster. Temporary to Permanent opportunities for successful candidates. These roles are FIFO Brisbane

NES Fircroft is seeking experienced underground Service Crew for an initial three-month engagement at a major underground mining operation on a 7/7 roster. Temporary to Permanent opportunities for successful candidates. These roles are FIFO Brisbane
Duties will include :-
- Perform pre-start checks on equipment to ensure safe operation.
- Collaborate with Underground Shift Supervisor and cross shift operator for equipment handovers.
- Execute tasks following mine plan instructions, profiles designs, and ground support patterns.
- Operate underground equipment and light vehicles safely and efficiently.
- Installation of vent bags, poly pipe, air & water services
- Pump & sump installation and maintenance
- Charge up support
- Jumbo offsiding (highly regarded)
- Working safely within active production environment
- Maintain clear communication, including hand signals, and adhere to safety protocols in confined environments.
Role requirements :-
- Previous underground hard-rock mining experience
- Current Australian driver’s licence
- Relevant underground competencies and tickets (must have Working at Heights ticket)
- Strong work ethic and commitment to safety
- Ability to perform physically demanding work
- Ability to work effectively with underground drill crews
- Ability to complete a pre-employment medical and functional assessment
- Australian working rights
