Project Manager – Data Center

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the execution and delivery of mission-critical infrastructure projects across Thailand and the region. This role will be responsible for managing end-to-end project activities, coordinating with customers, consultants, contractors, and subcontractors, while ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
The ideal candidate possesses strong project leadership capabilities, excellent stakeholder management skills, and a solid technical understanding of electrical infrastructure, critical power systems, or data center environments. Experience with Modular Data Centers, Prefabricated Data Center Solutions, Power Modules, PTUs (Power Train Units), UPS, MV/LV systems, or critical power infrastructure would be highly advantageous. Schneider's data center portfolio includes prefabricated power modules, modular data centers, critical power, cooling, and EcoStruxure-based infrastructure solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, monitoring, and successful delivery of data center and critical infrastructure projects.
• Manage project scope, schedule, budget, resources, risks, and stakeholder expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate closely with customers, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal engineering teams.
• Conduct regular project review meetings and provide progress updates to key stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with contractual requirements, quality standards, safety regulations, and company procedures.
• Manage subcontractor performance, site activities, and project documentation.
• Identify project risks and implement mitigation plans to ensure successful project delivery.
• Support commissioning, testing, handover, and project closeout activities.
• Drive effective communication across multiple stakeholders and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Travel frequently to customer sites and project locations as required.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 5-10 years of experience in project management, construction management, or infrastructure project delivery.
• Experience managing electrical, critical power, industrial, building infrastructure, or mission-critical facility projects.
• Strong understanding of project execution methodologies and contractor management.
• Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and cross-functional teams.
• High level of English proficiency, both written and spoken.
• Willingness to travel frequently for project execution and customer engagements.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Data Center, Mission Critical Facilities, Critical Power, UPS, MV/LV Distribution, Power Systems, Industrial Automation, or Energy Management Projects.
• Exposure to Modular Data Centers, Prefabricated Power Modules, PTUs, Power Distribution Systems, or large-scale electrical infrastructure projects. Schneider's modular solutions focus on factory-built, scalable, prefabricated data center and power infrastructure designed for faster deployment and predictable performance.
• PMP, Prince2, or equivalent Project Management certification is an advantage.
• Experience working with multinational clients and complex project environments.

Note: Direct data center experience is preferred but not mandatory. Strong Electrical Project Managers with experience in critical infrastructure, power distribution, UPS, industrial, utility, or large-scale M&E projects are encouraged to apply.
