** QA/QC Lead – Equipment Fabrication **
Location: Based in Spain (Barcelona OR  Bilbao area preferred)
Duration: 18-24 months

Role responsibility:
The role owns the day-to-day execution of vendor quality surveillance for the fabrication of all mechanical equipment supplied to the project — pressure vessels, reformers, heat exchangers, shop-fabricated piping, conveyors and associated equipment — combining desk-based technical review (ITPs, welding/NDE documentation, inspection reports, manufacturing record books) with hands-on field inspection at vendor shops in Spain and Italy.

Role Requirements:
1. Specific projects where the candidate inspected ASME VIII Div.1 pressure vessels or heat exchangers fabricated in Europe and placed on the EU market under PED (PED category, conformity module, Notified Body involved, and the candidate's exact role).
2. Welding inspector qualification (CSWIP 3.1, AWS CWI or IWI). NDT qualifications are a plus but not a must: a broad understanding of NDT is sufficient, as the role ensures NDT is executed correctly rather than performing it.
3. Base in Spain preferred (Bilbao or Barcelona), but not mandatory. Professional Spanish and English required.
