Solution Engineer – Data Center Solutions

About the Role

We are seeking a highly capable Solution Engineer to support the development of technical solutions for Data Center projects, working closely with the Pre-Sales, Tendering, Sales, and Project Delivery teams.
This role will be responsible for designing and developing competitive, technically compliant, and commercially optimized data center infrastructure solutions. The successful candidate will possess strong expertise in Data Center MEP design, particularly in mechanical systems (HVAC), while maintaining a solid understanding of electrical infrastructure and mission-critical facility requirements.
Candidates with experience from Data Center consultants, engineering consulting firms, design consultants, EPC contractors, or mission-critical infrastructure providers are strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and design technical solutions for Data Center projects during pre-sales and tendering stages.
• Work closely with the Pre-Sales, Sales, and Tendering teams to understand customer requirements and develop optimized solutions.
• Review technical specifications, tender documents, and client requirements to ensure compliance.
• Prepare technical proposals, solution designs, cost-effective recommendations, and supporting engineering documentation.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders, consultants, contractors, and clients throughout the solution development process.
• Provide technical support during customer meetings, presentations, and bid clarification activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related Engineering discipline.
• Experience in Data Center, Mission Critical Facilities, HVAC, or MEP Design projects.
• Proven involvement in Data Center projects, preferably with exposure to Medium Voltage (MV) infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems, particularly air-side cooling solutions.
• Exposure to LV electrical systems, UPS, critical power infrastructure, or Data Center support systems is advantageous.
• Experience in solution engineering, technical design, tendering, proposal engineering, or pre-sales support.
• Data Center certification is required.
• Experience with engineering consultancies, design consultants, EPC contractors, or Data Center solution providers is preferred.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong command of English, both written and spoken.

Note: Candidates from Data Center consulting, design, mission-critical infrastructure, HVAC, or MEP backgrounds are encouraged to apply. Direct experience in solution engineering for Data Center projects will be highly regarded.
