Location: US-CA-Santa Clara
Job Title: Data Center Technician III Location: Santa Clara, CA
Employment Type: Contract with full health and dental benefits
Contract Duration: 6 Month Contract with the potential for conversion if the candidate outperforms expectations.
Weekly Hours: -8a-5p role Monday to Friday (40 Hours Weekly)
-6 plus Years Experience Preferred
- Experience with physically installing server racks, mounting servers in the racks, connecting all Ethernet, fiber, and power cords and neatly routing / tying cables to the rack per the schematics and plans provided.
- Candidate must have experience handling fiber, cleaning, cable management. - Candidate must also have extensive experience installing and managing all rack-level components including switches, routers, chassis, console servers, optical transceivers, PDUs, cable managers, patch panels and trunks.
- Bonus points if the candidate has experience installing bare metal servers and components within them.
- Looking for someone to act fast and learn faster. Must be open minded and ready to manage a hectic site with many priorities.
