- Monday to Friday in Brisbane CBD
Working across engineering, operations and technology teams, you will identify opportunities for improvement, develop scalable analytics and machine learning solutions, and embed digital tools into day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and deliver digital, automation and AI initiatives that improve operational performance.
- Develop machine learning and advanced analytics solutions for predictive maintenance, anomaly detection, forecasting and optimisation.
- Translate operational and engineering requirements into practical digital solutions.
- Integrate digital models with operational systems including SCADA, PI, SAP and other enterprise platforms.
- Work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver projects, communicate insights and drive adoption.
- Continuously improve deployed solutions and identify new opportunities to create business value.
You are a self-motivated professional with the ability to work independently, manage competing priorities and engage effectively with stakeholders.
You will have:
- A degree in Engineering, Data Science, Computer Science or a related discipline.
- Strong experience with Python, SQL, machine learning, statistical modelling and time-series analytics.
- Experience with Databricks, Azure, Git and cloud-based analytics platforms.
- Knowledge of operational systems such as PI, SCADA, SAP, Maximo or similar is highly regarded.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving and project delivery skills.
