Document Control Analyst

Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Document Control Analyst to provide document management and information governance support for project teams. This role is responsible for ensuring project documentation is properly organized, tracked, maintained, and archived throughout the project lifecycle, from initiation through closeout.

Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Document Control Analyst to provide document management and information governance support for project teams. This role is responsible for ensuring project documentation is properly organized, tracked, maintained, and archived throughout the project lifecycle, from initiation through closeout.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and execute project information management plans.
- Administer and support project document management systems and collaboration platforms.
- Establish document repositories, metadata structures, security settings, and access permissions.
- Create and maintain transmittal logs, distribution matrices, and master document registers.
- Track document submissions, revisions, approvals, and distributions.
- Ensure proper document naming, numbering, filing, and records management practices.
- Manage sensitive, confidential, and regulated information in accordance with established policies.
- Monitor information deliverables and follow up on missing or outstanding documentation.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, field personnel, and contractors to resolve document discrepancies.
- Support project turnover and closeout activities, including records organization and archiving.
- Maintain project deliverable tracking tools and reporting requirements.
- Perform additional project support tasks as needed.
- Post-secondary education in a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in document control, records management, or project document administration.
- Experience managing project documentation throughout the full project lifecycle.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency with document management systems and collaboration platforms, including SharePoint.
- Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
- Experience supporting engineering, construction, infrastructure, or capital projects.
- Knowledge of document control best practices, records retention requirements, and information governance standards.
- Experience working with contractors and cross-functional project teams.
