Description:
Our client is seeking a CAD Drafter/Drafter II to support engineering and design activities within a refinery environment. This role is responsible for updating and maintaining engineering drawings, incorporating field and design redlines into AutoCAD, and ensuring documentation remains accurate and compliant with site standards and Management of Change (MOC) requirements.
The successful candidate will work closely with Engineers, Designers, and cross-functional project teams to produce and revise technical drawings including P&IDs, schematics, isometrics, equipment layouts, installation details, pipe routing drawings, and bills of materials.

Responsibilities
- Must be able to perform field walk downs
- Set up CAD environment including libraries and layers
- Use Refinery’s design standards and project procedures to create project drawings including the following but not limited to:
- P&IDs
- Building layouts, equipment layouts, cable tray/pipe routing
- Pipe schedules
- Installation Details
- Bill of Materials
- Pick up redlines from Designers in AutoCAD
- Pick up redlines (Schematics & P&IDs) from MOCs to support Document Control
- General AutoCAD work for Design Team
- 1-5 years of experience in Drafting
- Worked in a similar capacity
- AutoCAD
- Basic computer/PC skills
- Microsoft programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Must be able to function as part of a project team
- Able to interact and work with a diverse work group (Mechanical and/or I&E Designers, Engineers, Contractors)
- Basic knowledge of Process & Instrumentation Symbology
- Worked in a similar capacity in similar industry (refining, petro-chemical, etc.)
- Experience using Falcon
- Experience in SAP
- Associate Degree in Design, Drafting or Engineer Tech
