About You

• Mechanical Trade Qualification (Mechanical Fitter, Heavy Duty Fitter or equivalent)
• Proven experience maintaining fixed plant equipment within mining, ports, processing, or heavy industry environments
• Experience working on bulk materials handling equipment such as Train Unloaders, Stackers, Reclaimers and/or Shiploaders highly regarded
• Strong commitment to safety and working within established maintenance procedures
• Current EWP, Working at Heights and Confined Space tickets are desirable

The Job Role

• Perform planned, breakdown and corrective maintenance on critical fixed plant assets
• Support equipment reliability, plant availability and continuous improvement initiatives
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical faults across bulk materials handling equipment
• Work collaboratively with operations and maintenance teams to achieve production targets
• Contribute to a safe and efficient workplace through proactive hazard identification and compliance with site procedures
