FPSO Project Control Lead

NES Fircroft is recruiting for an experienced FPSO Project Control Lead to support a major operator development project.

This is a senior leadership position responsible for managing and integrating all project control disciplines across the project lifecycle. The successful candidate will oversee planning, reporting, document control, contract management, project systems, administration, logistics, and team coordination while supporting project management with accurate and timely project performance information.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a multidisciplinary project control team.
  • Develop and implement project control strategies and procedures.
  • Coordinate planning, document control, contracts, IT systems, and administration activities.
  • Deliver project dashboards, KPI reports, progress reports, and forecasts.
  • Monitor contractor performance and compliance.
  • Manage integrated schedules, milestone tracking, and variance analysis.
  • Support contract administration and variation order management.
  • Coordinate project control audits and governance activities.
  • Facilitate collaboration between engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning teams.
  • Support project mobilisation, logistics, and team coordination activities.
What We're Looking For
  • Degree in Engineering, Project Management, or related discipline.
  • Minimum 10-15 years of project controls experience within oil & gas or major industrial projects.
  • Strong FPSO, offshore, EPC, or EPSCC project experience.
  • Proven leadership experience managing multidisciplinary project control teams.
  • Advanced proficiency with Primavera P6, Excel, SharePoint, and EDMS platforms.
  • Strong understanding of project reporting, scheduling, contract management, and project governance.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to operate effectively within an international and multicultural project environment.
