Job Purpose We are seeking a highly experienced Head of Project Control to lead project administration, planning, scheduling, cost control, and performance management activities across major Oil & Gas/LNG projects.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring effective project controls, cost management, schedule stewardship, progress monitoring, reporting, workforce planning, and contractor performance management while supporting the successful delivery of projects within approved budgets and timelines.

Key Responsibilities Project Controls Leadership
  • Lead and manage all Project Management Team (PMT) project control activities.
  • Coordinate project controls deliverables across engineering, procurement, construction, and other project functions.
  • Ensure implementation and continuous improvement of the Project Control Plan.
Cost & Schedule Management
  • Drive project cost control, forecasting, budgeting, estimating, and reporting activities.
  • Manage planning, scheduling, and progress measurement processes.
  • Review and analyze project performance, trends, risks, and recovery plans.
  • Evaluate schedule and cost impacts resulting from project changes and variations.
Contractor Performance Management
  • Monitor EPC Contractor and subcontractor performance relating to:
    • Project Controls
    • Scheduling
    • Cost Estimating
    • Progress Reporting
    • Performance Measurement
  • Review project reports and ensure compliance with company standards and requirements.
  • Identify discrepancies and coordinate corrective actions.
Stakeholder Coordination
  • Act as the primary interface between:
    • Project Manager
    • Business Manager
    • PMT Members
    • EPC Contractors
  • Provide management with accurate project performance reports and recommendations.
Financial & Commercial Support
  • Review invoices for accuracy, completeness, and contractual compliance.
  • Support resolution of commercial and payment-related issues.
  • Coordinate with Accounts Payable, Finance, and Audit teams.
  • Ensure EPC Contractor accounting systems meet company audit requirements.
Workforce Planning
  • Manage workforce planning, resource forecasting, and manpower optimization.
  • Ensure fair and consistent workforce management practices across the project.

Experience Required
✅ Minimum 10 years of experience in major Oil & Gas or LNG project environments.

✅ Proven experience in:

  • Tender Preparation
  • Budgeting & Forecasting
  • Progress Monitoring
  • EPC Project Execution
✅ Minimum 3 years of experience supervising multi-disciplinary and multicultural teams.

✅ Experience working on large-scale EPC projects within the Oil & Gas, LNG, Petrochemical, or Energy sectors.
