Join a Major Offshore Energy Project
We are currently seeking an experienced Structural Engineer – Installation Aids to support the prestigious FPSO Project. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to complex subsea developments within a leading international engineering environment.

As part of the project team, you will be responsible for the design, analysis, and verification of offshore installation aids, ensuring structures meet the highest engineering and marine operation standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform structural analysis and design of offshore installation aids for subsea operations.
  • Develop and validate engineering solutions for lifting, transportation, and installation activities.
  • Conduct finite element analyses using ABAQUS (2D shell and 3D solid models).
  • Carry out structural assessments using SACS beam modelling software.
  • Produce and review detailed structural calculations, including hand calculations.
  • Ensure designs comply with project requirements, industry standards, and marine operation specifications.
  • Work closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver safe, efficient, and innovative solutions.
  • Support project execution through technical reviews and engineering recommendations.
What We're Looking For Essential Requirements
✅ Minimum 5 years' experience as a Structural Engineer in offshore installation aids engineering

✅ Experience on subsea or offshore projects

✅ Strong knowledge and practical application of:

  • API 2A WSD
  • AISC 9th Edition
  • DNV-ST-N001 (Marine Operations and Marine Warranty)
✅ Advanced experience with:

  • ABAQUS (2D shell and 3D solid FEA)
  • SACS
  • Hand calculations
✅ Ability to work autonomously and solve complex engineering challenges

✅ Strong communication and collaboration skills

✅ Dynamic, adaptable, and proactive approach

Working Arrangement 📍 Location Montigny-le-Bretonneux, France

🏢 Hybrid Working Minimum 3 days per week onsite.
