General Responsibilities:
- Responsible for new account development and/or expanding existing accounts within an established geographic territory/product line.
- Pursue sales leads
- Lead in visits to existing and new customers
- Analyze customer needs and suggest appropriate products and services
- Respond to customer enquiries; and conclude sales orders to meet established revenue targets
- Innovates and creates sales skills and knowledge of the organization's products, services, and customers
- Perform supplier audits on site at distributor warehouse locations
- Identify and implement efficiency opportunities such as distributor dashboards, etc.
- Initiate regular communication with distributors to mitigate shipment errors and discrepancies
- Develop and execute strategic account plans to achieve annual Net Revenue, New Business Opportunity (NBO), and New Logo objectives
- Serve as the primary commercial owner for assigned strategic key accounts, building executive relationships and coordinating global customer engagement.
- Lead strategic customer business reviews and develop multi-year account growth plans aligned with customer technology roadmaps and business objectives.
- Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and emerging technologies to identify, qualify, and drive new business opportunities across Industrial and Data Center applications.
- A university degree required (i.e. Bachelors degree) or equivalent relevant work experience
- Must be a team player able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands
- Strong communication skills; oral, written and presentation
- Strong organization, planning and time management skills to achieve results
- Strong personal and professional ethical values and integrity
- Holds self-accountable to achieving goals and standards
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
- Strong interpersonal & collaboration skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization including suppliers and/or external customers
