Procurement Expeditor
Qualification

Qualification
- Diploma / HNC / Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related technical discipline from a recognized institution.
- Minimum 10 years of procurement and expediting experience in large-scale Oil & Gas, Energy, EPC, or EPIC projects.
- Experience supporting offshore and major capital projects.
- Strong knowledge of procurement processes including sourcing, purchasing, expediting, inspection, and vendor management.
- Experience in developing procurement strategies, plans, and schedules in line with project requirements, industry standards, and best practices.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
- Willingness to undertake vendor and supplier site visits, inspections, audits, and progress reviews.
- Manage and expedite procurement activities to ensure timely delivery of equipment, materials, and services in accordance with project schedules, budgets, specifications, and quality requirements.
- Monitor procurement progress, identify potential delays, and implement mitigation measures to maintain project milestones.
- Develop procurement strategies for critical and long-lead items and support procurement planning throughout project execution.
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, inspection, logistics, and project teams to ensure alignment on material requirements and delivery schedules.
- Track requisition status, purchase orders, manufacturing progress, inspections, and shipment activities.
- Conduct vendor evaluations, support supplier qualification processes, and participate in supplier audits when required.
- Prepare procurement and expediting reports, highlighting status, risks, and recommended corrective actions.
- Resolve procurement-related issues through effective coordination with suppliers, contractors, and project stakeholders.
- Monitor vendor performance and support continuous improvement initiatives and lessons learned programs.
- Support spare parts identification, tracking, and delivery processes to ensure operational readiness and project requirements are met.
- Participate in project closeout activities, documentation handover, and procurement performance reviews.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings, schedule improvements, and process enhancements.
