In this role, you'll be part of a Mine Progression team responsible for managing front-end mining and bulk civil projects from planning through execution.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Managing mining and bulk civil capital projects
  • Supporting bid development, contractor evaluation, and award processes
  • Coordinating project execution and stakeholder interfaces
  • Working with operations, planners, contractors, and project teams
  • Supporting project development, FEED activities, and project delivery
  • Managing multiple projects while ensuring alignment with project objectives and standards
Location:
  • Based in the Calgary area
  • Monthly travel to a northern Alberta mine site (typically 2-7 days per month, depending on project activity)
  • Flexible schedule with the ability to manage your own workload and travel requirements
What we're looking for:
  • 10+ years of Project Engineering or Project Management experience
  • Civil engineering and/or heavy civil construction background
  • Oil sands, mining, or project operations experience
  • Experience leading projects through planning, tendering, contractor management, and execution
  • Strong collaboration, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects
