8:6 Roster | FIFO Perth
Are you an enthusiastic geologist looking to build your career in resource definition and drilling operations? We are seeking a motivated Resource Definition Geologist / Rig Geologist to join our exploration and resource development team on an 8 days on, 6 days off roster.
This role provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on exposure to resource definition drilling programs, geological interpretation, data management, and resource development activities while working alongside experienced geologists in a dynamic mining environment.
About the Role Reporting to the Senior Geologist, you will be responsible for the supervision and geological support of RC drilling programs, ensuring high-quality geological data collection, sampling integrity, and safe drilling operations.

About the Role Reporting to the Senior Geologist, you will be responsible for the supervision and geological support of RC drilling programs, ensuring high-quality geological data collection, sampling integrity, and safe drilling operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily field activities of designated RC drill rigs.
- Accurately log geological information and maintain daily database records.
- Monitor and manage sampling procedures and QA/QC protocols at the drill rig.
- Complete geological validation, interpretation, and reconciliation of drilling data.
- Maintain daily drill progress tracking and database updates.
- Produce and update drill plans, geological maps, cross-sections, and drilling schedules.
- Support geological, structural, and mineralisation mapping programs.
- Assist senior and project geologists with geological modelling and resource development activities.
About You
- Bachelor of Science (Geology) or equivalent qualification.
- Current WA Manual Class C Driver's Licence.
- Current First Aid and CPR certification.
- 4WD Certificate.
