Senior SAP Data Lead Role Purposes

We are seeking a Senior SAP Data Lead with deep data experience to support execution across data, analytics, & AI activities for our SAP S/4 transformation programme which is migrating my client’s business onto SAP/S4 on their RISE platform. The role will act as the integrator across the technology & business teams to create the coherent & consistent plan for data delivery across programme activities. This covers activities from business master data cleanse, management, business ownership alignment; transactional data transfer; reporting & analytics, & the enablement of AI capabilities & agents across to the new solution delivery.  The Senior SAP Data Lead will demonstrate expertise in project delivery skills – planning, dependency management, & delivery execution along with a broad understanding of data architecture from governance & lineage through to ETL & data reconciliation.  The role requires a mix of strong stakeholder & business engagement skills with strong understanding of the core technologies, concepts, & challenges associated with enterprise scale data management & AI fundamentals.  My client uses both SAP core technologies & has a unified data strategy based on the use of Azure & Data Bricks alongside other tools to support the full data lifecycle & meta data management. Driving alignment of roadmap, tools, & structures between the developing data platform & governance & the programme delivery is a key dependency to manage. The role is directly hands on & delivery focused, directly responsible for coordinating work, driving actions, resolving dependencies, & ensuring agreed data outcomes are delivered across business & technology teams.  The role is suited to an experienced delivery lead who understands SAP & data programmes, is comfortable operating across multiple workstreams in the delivery as well as business stakeholder alignment & can act as the integrator between teams with credibility in domain knowledge & the ability to influence outcomes. The role works closely with senior programme leadership & data stakeholders but remains firmly embedded in day-to-day execution.
