Structural Engineer (Junior) - Subsea Projects Location: Paris Area, France
Contract: 12 Months
Start Date: ASAP
Work Pattern: Hybrid (Minimum 3 days per week on-site)
About the Opportunity We are partnering with a leading engineering organisation to recruit a Junior Structural Engineer to support the delivery of major offshore and subsea projects. This role offers the opportunity to work on the design, analysis, and verification of complex subsea structures while collaborating with multidisciplinary engineering teams.

This role offers the opportunity to work on the design, analysis, and verification of complex subsea structures while collaborating with multidisciplinary engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform structural design and engineering calculations for subsea structures.
- Carry out Finite Element Analysis (FEA) using ABAQUS.
- Develop and review 2D shell and 3D volumetric models.
- Support the design and assessment of subsea equipment including manifolds, FLETs, suction piles, and mudmats.
- Review technical drawings and coordinate with designers and drafting teams.
- Contribute technical solutions and recommendations throughout project execution.
- Work autonomously while collaborating closely with project leads and other engineering discip
- A degree in Structural Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- Previous experience in structural engineering, preferably within offshore, subsea, marine, or energy projects.
- Strong experience using ABAQUS for Finite Element Analysis.
- Knowledge of 2D shell modelling, 3D volumetric modelling, and hand calculations.
- The ability to perform engineering calculations independently and solve technical challenges.
- Experience reviewing engineering drawings and working with multidisciplinary teams.
- Fluency in English; French language skills are beneficial.
