An exciting opportunity has come up with a global resources organisation who are seeking a Systems Specialist to join a high performing enterprise GIS team supporting operations across multiple international sites.
This is a highly technical role focused on the design, development, integration and support of enterprise geospatial platforms, automation solutions and data workflows. You'll work across a modern technology stack, delivering scalable solutions that improve the way spatial data is managed, integrated and consumed across the business.
This role will suit an experienced systems focused professional who enjoys working across development, platform administration, integration and infrastructure.

This is a highly technical role focused on the design, development, integration and support of enterprise geospatial platforms, automation solutions and data workflows. You'll work across a modern technology stack, delivering scalable solutions that improve the way spatial data is managed, integrated and consumed across the business.

Key Responsibilities
Enterprise Platform Management
- Support and maintain critical enterprise applications and platforms.
- Manage upgrades, patching, monitoring and operational performance.
- Support Dev, Test and Production environments.
- Design and develop automated workflows and data integration solutions.
- Build and maintain Python-based automation frameworks.
- Support API integrations and enterprise data flows.
- Develop and optimise SQL Server solutions.
- Manage large-scale relational and spatial datasets.
- Support reporting, analytics and operational systems.
- Design and build business applications and user-facing solutions.
- Work with stakeholders to develop fit-for-purpose technical solutions.
- Contribute to application architecture and technology roadmaps.
- Support and enhance enterprise spatial applications including ArcGIS and FME platforms.
- Deliver mapping, field mobility and location intelligence solutions.
About You
We're interested in hearing from technical professionals who have experience supporting enterprise platforms, automating business processes and delivering integrated technology solutions within complex environments.
You will bring:
- 7+ years' experience supporting and developing enterprise applications, platforms or data solutions.
- Strong Python development and automation experience.
- Advanced SQL Server and database management skills.
- Experience designing and supporting system integrations, data workflows and automated processes.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capability across applications, platforms and data environments.
- Experience working within large, complex enterprise environments.
- Strong documentation, communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- A continuous improvement mindset with a passion for delivering practical, scalable solutions.
- Python development and automation
- Microsoft SQL Server and database administration
- Enterprise application support and administration
- Data integration and workflow automation tools
- API integrations and enterprise data platforms
- Dev, Test and Production environment management
- Platform monitoring, performance tuning and operational support
- Web application development and configuration
- JavaScript development frameworks
- Experience supporting enterprise GIS or spatial technology platforms.
- Experience with cloud-based or hybrid enterprise platforms.
- ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Online and ArcGIS Pro
- FME Form and FME Flow
- Exposure to machine learning, AI or advanced analytics initiatives.
- Experience with web application development.
- Experience within mining, resources, energy, utilities or other asset-intensive industries.
