T&I Design Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design calculations for offshore structures using specialized engineering software such as SACS, Tekla, and SAP2000.
• Prepare engineering design drawings and construction drawings during both tender preparation and project execution phases.
• Develop and model offshore structural components using specialized 2D and 3D design software. Candidates with experience supporting projects for companies such as PTSC M&C, Vietsovpetro, PV Shipyard, PVE, or Technip are preferred. 
• Prepare technical tender documentation, including reviewing ITT (Invitation to Tender) packages, developing suitable installation methodologies, planning project execution strategies, and performing quantity take-offs based on selected construction approaches.
• Prepare technical bid packages and requests for quotation in accordance with client requirements and applicable domestic and international standards and regulations. 
• Prepare, review, and control engineering calculations, installation procedures, and project documentation, including drawings. 
• Prepare and review reports, correspondence, and other documentation related to project execution activities

Qualifications & Requirements

• Male candidate with good physical fitness. 
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline. Offshore Structural Engineering graduates are preferred. 
• Minimum 2 years of experience in structural engineering calculations and design engineering roles.
• Good command of English, including speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Microsoft Project, MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). Experience with industry-specific software such as SACS, OFFPIPE, MOSES, and OrcaFlex is highly preferred. 
• Working knowledge of relevant international engineering standards, including API, DNV, and Noble Denton requirements. 
• Experience in preparing, reviewing, and controlling engineering calculations, procedures, and technical drawings. 
• Experience supervising and coordinating transportation, load-out, and launching activities at fabrication yards. 
• Strong professional attitude, high sense of responsibility, integrity, initiative, and ability to work independently.
