Job Type: Full-Time (Contract, with potential for extension or permanent hire)
Rate: $28-20/hr
Overview We are seeking a skilled Assembly Repair Technician to support the repair and maintenance of industrial valve components. This role involves hands-on work including disassembly, inspection, machining, repair, reassembly, and testing of mechanical equipment.

Overview We are seeking a skilled Assembly Repair Technician to support the repair and maintenance of industrial valve components. This role involves hands-on work including disassembly, inspection, machining, repair, reassembly, and testing of mechanical equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform disassembly, cleaning, inspection, repair, assembly, and testing of industrial components
- Conduct dimensional and visual inspections to ensure quality standards
- Operate manual machining equipment such as:
- Radial drills
- Lathes
- Horizontal and vertical boring mills
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications
- Set up and adjust machinery to meet repair and production requirements
- Use cranes, forklifts, and other material handling equipment to move parts
- Follow established safety and quality procedures
- Maintain a strong commitment to workplace safety practices
- High school diploma or GED required
- Minimum of 3 years of machining and mechanical experience
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and perform shop math
- Experience with basic measurement tools and metrology
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Willingness to obtain forklift and crane certifications
- Ability to wear a respirator and pass required safety testing
- Must pass vision and hearing exams
- Career Readiness Certificate (Silver level or equivalent) preferred
- 40 hours per week (8 hours per day)
