For our client, a global leading life science company, we are currently seeking an experienced Automation Engineer to take ownership of automation systems within a critical production environment.
This is a high-impact, hands-on role where you will ensure the reliability, performance, and continuous improvement of automation systems in a GMP-regulated manufacturing setting.

This is a high-impact, hands-on role where you will ensure the reliability, performance, and continuous improvement of automation systems in a GMP-regulated manufacturing setting.
Your role
- Act as the technical owner for automation systems in a key production area
- Ensure system reliability, availability, and long-term maintainability
- Support and lead commissioning, upgrades, and improvement projects
- Troubleshoot complex issues across PLC, HMI, SCADA, and industrial networks
- Collaborate closely with production, maintenance, engineering, and quality teams
- Coordinate with external suppliers and system integrators
- Ensure compliance with GMP, validation, and data integrity requirements
- Drive continuous improvement and optimization of automation systems
- Degree in Automation, Electrical Engineering, or related field
- Several years of experience in industrial automation
- Strong expertise in PLC, HMI, SCADA, and process control systems
- Experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or other regulated environments is highly desirable
- Good understanding of GMP, validation (IQ/OQ), and change control
- Hands-on, solution-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of complex systems
- Fluent in French, with good knowledge of English
