Business Analyst (Junior)

Overview
Supports project and program financial controls, including cost tracking, forecasting, and reporting, to ensure successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Track project costs (work orders, POs, invoices)
• Monitor budgets and prepare forecasts
• Perform cost analysis and identify variances
• Support Project Managers with financial reporting and insights
• Prepare cost reports and conduct final cost reconciliation
• Identify improvements in cost control processes
• Manage project finances from initiation to closure
• Communicate with stakeholders, vendors, and contractors

Requirements

• Degree in Accounting, Business, Engineering, or Project Management (preferred)
• 5+ years’ experience in project cost control (capital projects preferred)
• Strong Excel and data analysis skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Preferred

• Knowledge of cost management and project controls
• Understanding of cost vs schedule relationships
• Strong data analysis and presentation skills
