Supports project and program financial controls, including cost tracking, forecasting, and reporting, to ensure successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Track project costs (work orders, POs, invoices)
- Monitor budgets and prepare forecasts
- Perform cost analysis and identify variances
- Support Project Managers with financial reporting and insights
- Prepare cost reports and conduct final cost reconciliation
- Identify improvements in cost control processes
- Manage project finances from initiation to closure
- Communicate with stakeholders, vendors, and contractors
- Degree in Accounting, Business, Engineering, or Project Management (preferred)
- 5+ years’ experience in project cost control (capital projects preferred)
- Strong Excel and data analysis skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Knowledge of cost management and project controls
- Understanding of cost vs schedule relationships
- Strong data analysis and presentation skills
