We are supporting a reputable offshore engineering project in Singapore and are looking for experienced Expeditors to join the Supply Chain Department. This role will support a large-scale offshore EPC project involving complex procurement, fabrication, inspection, logistics coordination and delivery follow-up for project materials and equipment.
The position is suitable for candidates with hands-on experience in offshore oil and gas, marine, EPC, EPIC or heavy engineering project environments. Candidates should be familiar with purchasing follow-up, vendor coordination, fabrication progress tracking, inspection coordination, shipping readiness, documentation control and project schedule requirements.
The successful candidate will play an important role in ensuring that materials, equipment, fabricated components and vendor packages are sourced, manufactured, inspected, documented and delivered in accordance with project specifications, quality requirements and delivery milestones.

The successful candidate will play an important role in ensuring that materials, equipment, fabricated components and vendor packages are sourced, manufactured, inspected, documented and delivered in accordance with project specifications, quality requirements and delivery milestones.
Key Responsibilities Procurement and Order Expediting
- Follow up closely with suppliers, manufacturers, fabricators and subcontractors to ensure timely execution of purchase orders and subcontract deliverables.
- Monitor the full procurement cycle from purchase order placement to material readiness, inspection, packing, shipment and final delivery.
- Track critical equipment and materials required for offshore fabrication, construction and installation activities.
- Review vendor production schedules and identify any potential delays that may affect project milestones.
- Coordinate with procurement, engineering, quality, logistics, construction and project control teams to ensure alignment with project requirements.
- Maintain accurate expediting records, delivery status reports, progress updates and action trackers.
- Liaise with suppliers and fabricators on production progress, material availability, fabrication status and delivery commitments.
- Follow up on key offshore project packages, which may include structural steel, piping materials, valves, mechanical equipment, electrical and instrumentation items, subsea-related materials, topside components, jacket-related items and other project-specific equipment.
- Monitor supplier manpower, material readiness, production constraints, testing schedules and packing status where applicable.
- Support the project team in identifying high-risk or long-lead items and escalate concerns in a timely manner.
- Attend or support supplier progress meetings, expediting calls and project coordination discussions.
- Coordinate with quality, engineering and inspection teams to ensure inspection requirements are planned and completed on time.
- Follow up on inspection notifications, inspection release notes, material test certificates, vendor data books, quality dossiers and related project documentation.
- Support the closure of non-conformance reports, punch lists, outstanding technical queries and supplier quality issues.
- Assist in coordinating corrective actions with suppliers when quality concerns, documentation gaps or delivery risks are identified.
- Ensure that final documentation is submitted in accordance with project and client requirements before shipment or handover.
- Work with logistics teams to monitor packing, shipment readiness, export documentation, delivery schedules and transportation arrangements.
- Track delivery progress for local and overseas suppliers and ensure timely updates are provided to internal stakeholders.
- Assist in resolving delivery-related issues, including shipment delays, missing documents, incomplete packing lists, damaged goods or material discrepancies.
- Coordinate with warehouse, site, fabrication yard or receiving teams to confirm material arrival and support any required follow-up actions.
- Prepare regular expediting reports, supplier progress updates, critical item lists and delivery risk summaries.
- Highlight potential schedule impacts and recommend practical recovery actions.
- Maintain close communication with project management, procurement, engineering, quality, logistics and construction teams.
- Support supplier audits, vendor performance reviews and project readiness checks where required.
- Ensure all expediting activities are carried out in line with project procedures, safety expectations, quality standards and contractual requirements.
- Diploma, degree or relevant qualification in Supply Chain, Procurement, Engineering, Logistics, Business or a related discipline.
- Relevant experience as an Expeditor, Procurement Coordinator, Material Coordinator, Project Procurement Specialist or similar role in EPC, offshore oil and gas, marine, shipyard, fabrication or heavy engineering environments.
- Experience supporting offshore project packages such as platforms, topsides, jackets, modules, piping, mechanical equipment, E&I materials, structural steel or other project-critical materials will be advantageous.
- Good understanding of purchase order follow-up, vendor management, inspection coordination, material tracking and delivery expediting.
- Ability to read and understand procurement documents, material requisitions, purchase orders, technical specifications, inspection requirements and vendor schedules.
- Familiarity with international supplier coordination, long-lead item tracking and project logistics will be advantageous.
- Strong coordination, communication and follow-up skills.
- Able to work independently, manage multiple priorities and escalate issues promptly.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, reporting tools and procurement or ERP systems.
- Good written and spoken English for coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
- Candidates with experience supporting large-scale international offshore EPC projects will be favourably considered based on project relevance.
- Contract duration: 12 months, with possibility of extension based on project requirements and performance.
- Work location: Singapore.
- Work arrangement: Office-based role, Monday to Friday.
- Employment eligibility: Open to candidates who meet the role requirements and are eligible to work in Singapore. Work pass support may be provided where applicable and subject to prevailing regulations.

- Salary: Open for discussion and commensurate with relevant experience, qualifications and project exposure. (All-In Gross Monthly Rate)
