Position Summary
The Buyer / Turnaround Support role is a temporary assignment established to provide procurement coverage for ongoing site needs while dedicated full-time site procurement resources are focused on turnaround (TAR) planning and execution. This position will primarily support routine site purchasing activities and backfill day-to-day procurement requirements to help maintain continuity of site operations.
In addition to supporting normal site operations, the role may provide supplemental assistance for turnaround-related procurement activities as needed. The position is expected to work a standard 40-hour week, with the potential for overtime as the site progresses toward TAR execution and business demands increase.
This position is intended to be filled locally. No LOA is offered. Training will be provided by onsite resources. While the assignment is temporary in nature, there may be potential for longer-term employment based on individual performance and business needs.

Key Responsibilities
Site Procurement Support

• Provide day-to-day procurement support for site operations by backfilling purchasing needs not covered by full-time personnel assigned to turnaround support.
• Execute purchasing activities for MRO materials, services, and other site operational requirements.
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of requisitions and purchase orders in alignment with company procurement policies, procedures, and approval requirements.
• Work closely with Maintenance, Operations, Engineering, and other site stakeholders to understand purchasing needs and ensure material and service availability.
• Monitor order status, follow up on deliveries, and resolve supply or service issues to support uninterrupted site operations.
• Ensure vendors are informed and complaint with all ISNet Requirements

Turnaround Support

• Provide supplemental support to turnaround procurement activities as needed, including sourcing, expediting, and coordination of materials and services.
• Assist with TAR-related bid requests, supplier coordination, and material readiness activities when required.
• Support turnaround procurement coverage during periods of increased workload as the site moves closer to TAR execution.
• Provide backup support for TAR procurement responsibilities during planning and execution phases, as assigned.
• Ensure vendors are informed and complaint with all ISNet Requirements

Supplier and Systems Support

• Support supplier communication, issue resolution, and order follow-up to maintain procurement effectiveness.
• Utilize ERP and procurement systems to manage purchasing transactions, supplier information, and procurement records.
• Maintain accurate purchasing documentation and ensure compliance with internal controls and procurement procedures.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain roles.
• Experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment preferred.
• Experience supporting plant turnarounds, shutdowns, or major maintenance events is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication and coordination skills with internal stakeholders and suppliers.
• Experience with ERP systems is required.
• Oracle experience preferred.
