Description
Job Title: Civil Engineer
Location: Adelanto, California
Duration: 1 year, with possibility of extension
Work Arrangement: Fully onsite / field-based
Hours expected to be 40 hours per week 8-hour shifts, starting at 7/7:30 am

Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Civil Engineer to support and supervise civil, building, architectural, MEP, and low-voltage electrical activities at the Adelanto site. This is not a design-office role. The selected candidate will be working onsite in the field, supervising construction execution and ensuring work is progressing according to quality, schedule, and project expectations. The execution work will be performed by a project partner/contractor. We need this person to act as the onsite civil representative overseeing the work, tracking progress, monitoring quality, coordinating with stakeholders, and creating punch lists.
Civil Works
·Supervise all civil construction activities, including excavation, grading, foundations, concrete works, underground services, and site development.
·Monitor construction progress and ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
·Coordinate inspections, testing, and quality control activities.
-Identify and resolve site issues to minimize delays and rework.
Building Works
·Oversee architectural works, including walls, doors, finishes, flooring, ceilings, fireproofing, and other building components.
MEP works
·Coordinate HVAC installation activities, including ductwork, equipment installation, insulation, and testing requirements.
·Supervise plumbing works, including piping systems, fixtures, drainage, and associated services.
·Supervise low voltage electrical work
Qualification:
·Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering,
·Minimum 5 years of construction supervision experience.
·Strong knowledge of civil, architectural, HVAC, and plumbing construction practices.
·General understanding of electrical systems and multidisciplinary coordination.
· Knowledge of construction safety regulations and quality requirements.
·Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
·Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
