Pay: $28 p/hr

About the Role
We are seeking a skilled CNC Maintenance Technician to support our maintenance department by catching up on past-due tasks and performing ongoing preventative maintenance. This contractor will help stabilize workload and ensure production equipment remains reliable without disrupting daily operations.
This role is ideal for someone with strong CNC maintenance experience, excellent troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work independently within established guidelines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform maintenance and repairs on CNC machinery and production equipment.
  • Execute preventative maintenance (PM) tasks on assigned equipment.
  • Diagnose, identify, and resolve mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues.
  • Read and interpret part manuals, schematics (electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical), assembly instructions, and troubleshooting guides.
  • Assist with movement, installation, and setup of production equipment.
  • Maintain maintenance materials and spare parts inventory to reduce equipment downtime.
  • Collaborate with the Maintenance team to ensure all maintenance activities are documented and completed on time.
  • Follow established procedures and work processes with limited ability to modify approach.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and leadership (verbal and written).
  • Promote safety and compliance by adhering to all HSSE policies and guidelines.

Required Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 2+ years of CNC maintenance experience (3+ preferred).
  • Knowledge of CNC machine design, operation, and mechanical systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documentation and schematics.
  • Experience troubleshooting and repairing production equipment.
  • Basic computer skills (Outlook, Word, Excel).
  • Ability to work independently and solve routine technical problems.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to equipment reliability and safety.
