An industrial manufacturing facility is seeking a CNC Operator / Inspector (Nights) to join its Production team. This is a hands‑on, technical role responsible for operating and programming CNC machines while performing detailed inspections to ensure product quality and compliance with specifications.
The facility manufactures a high volume of threaded connections, ranging from standard to complex premium products, requiring a strong focus on safety, quality, and precision.

Position Overview:
The CNC Operator & Inspector (Nights) is a technical position responsible for inspecting threaded pipe for quality assurance, as well as operating and programming CNC machines. The role includes machine setup, inspection, and operation.
Focus may be on high‑volume production components where efficiency is critical, or on complex accessory pieces where accuracy and quality are paramount.

Role Details:
- Department: Industrial Operations / Production
- Location: Nisku, Alberta
- Employment Type: Permanent, Full‑Time
- Shift: Night Shift (6:00 PM – 6:00 AM)
- Schedule: 12‑hour shifts, rotating schedules, Monday – Saturday
- Eligibility: Open to candidates legally eligible to work in Canada
- Safety Requirement: This is a safety‑sensitive role; candidates must be able to successfully complete pre‑employment drug & alcohol testing and fit testing

Key Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and move products and materials manually or using material handling equipment
- Operate CNC machines to create threaded connections
- Set up CNC programs to meet production requirements
- Read and interpret CAD drawings, charts, and technical tables
- Use power and hand tools to complete tasks efficiently and to quality standards
- Set up gauges and adjust tools for inspection purposes
- Perform inspections to ensure products meet defined quality standards
- Report non‑conformance and product deviations to the Quality department
- Inspect machinery and equipment to detect irregularities or malfunctions
- Complete customer return inspections and verification activities
- Assist with audits including ISO, API, Quality, and Safety audits
- Meet productivity and efficiency targets
- Ensure proper and safe use of company equipment; report malfunctioning assets
- Participate in training to maintain and expand technical knowledge
- Proactively suggest improvements and support continuous improvement initiatives
- Actively participate in safety programs, hazard identification, and reporting
- Perform other duties as required, including basic maintenance, housekeeping, and administrative tasks
- 2–3 years of experience as a CNC Operator / Lathe Operator
(experience with Okuma, Mazak, or Mori Seiki equipment preferred) - Prior manual labour experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment
