Commissioning Lead – Telecoms / Cyber Security

 Experience: 8+ Years (Commissioning & Offshore Projects)

Location: Doha, Qatar (Onshore)

Contract Duration: 3 Years

Work Schedule:

• 8–10 hours per day
• 6 days per week
• Rotation: 12 weeks ON / 2 weeks OFF

Job Purpose

Provide technical leadership and oversight for Telecoms and Cyber Security commissioning activities during offshore, hook‑up, and commissioning phases. The role ensures contractor compliance, technical integrity, effective testing, and readiness for asset handover.

Key Accountabilities

• Lead and oversee Telecoms commissioning activities for EPC contractors and vendors
• Review and approve contractor procedures, documentation, FAT/SAT, and site testing
• Assess technical proposals, deviations, redlines, and new technologies for compliance
• Support planning, manpower assessment, recovery plans, and milestone delivery
• Witness commissioning tests and sign off check sheets and reports
• Act as telecoms commissioning focal point during offshore and site activities
• Support quality audits, completions, pre‑commissioning, and handover readiness

Experience & Knowledge

• 8+ years commissioning experience in Oil & Gas / LNG projects
• Strong expertise in Telecoms systems:
  • Fibre optics & copper testing
  • Networking, Cyber Security, TCP/IP, LAN/WAN
  • Radio, PAGA, CCTV, ACS, Telephony
• Experience in offshore facilities, EPC projects, and start‑up support
• Strong knowledge of codes, standards, P&IDs, datasheets, GA drawings
