Contract period: 15/06/2026 - 31/12/2027
Location: Stord, Stavanger, Offshore
Main tasks:
- System responsible for ensuring planning, preparation and execution of commissioning for designated systems in a safe, efficient and timely manner according to Project Completion Strategy and commissioning plans and ensure they meet all client's project and operational requirements, including verification and assurance.
- Participate in operation, handover of plant and equipment to the Asset Operations team upon completion of commissioning activities.
- Contribute in the preparation phase with review and verification of documentation and drawings that are relevant to MC and Commissioning of designated systems.
- Provide engineering input, feedback.
- Estimation and planning of commissioning scope of work onshore and offshore for designated systems/equipment, including input to plan.
- Work independently to plan and execute MC follow-up and commissioning activities.
- Participate in MC punch outs and FATs at supplier sites.
- Deliver input and update progress into project completion system PIMS.
- Develop, review, and implementation of commissioning procedures.
- Coordinate and Interact with different departments and disciplines to ensure efficient execution of commissioning with high focus on HSSE.
- Identify and follow up risks and opportunities related to commissioning.
- Plan and call off ATS as and when required.
- Manage assistance personnel from contractors and other resources providing services.
- Ensure spare parts and special tools are available prior to execution of commissioning activities.
- Plan and ensure first fills are available in timely fashion and perform first fills.
- Provide leadership to ensure that a high level of focus is maintained on health, safety, and the environment to achieve client’s expectations.
- Plan and coordinate commissioning assistance and support as required.
- Participate in discipline MC punch rounds at sites for designated systems.
- Ensure a smooth transition from Project to Operation.
- Participate in pre-start-up and performance test reviews as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Longer experience from process control and control room experience is desired, or BSc./MSc. in Engineering or a related field or equivalent education / experience.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
- Experience from NORSOK projects.
- System-based commissioning knowledge and understanding
- Familiarity with Project Completions Systems and document management systems.
- Experience with PIMS is an advantage.
- Good knowledge of the English and Norwegian languages (both written and verbal).
- Knowledge of Cyber Security requirements.
