Hiring: Construction Lead (CP8S Electrical & IT)
Location: Sohar, Oman
Work Schedule & Setup
We are looking for an experienced Construction Lead (Electrical & IT) to manage EPC contractor execution for CP Topsides compression projects. The role focuses on ensuring safe, high-quality, and timely delivery of electrical and IT scopes while driving alignment between company and contractor teams.

Work Schedule & Setup
- ✅ 100% Onshore
- 🔄 Rotation: 12 Weeks ON / 2 Weeks OFF
- 📅 6 Days/Week
- ⏱ 8–10 Hours/Day
We are looking for an experienced Construction Lead (Electrical & IT) to manage EPC contractor execution for CP Topsides compression projects. The role focuses on ensuring safe, high-quality, and timely delivery of electrical and IT scopes while driving alignment between company and contractor teams.
Key Responsibilities
- ✅ Ensure strict adherence to HSE standards during fabrication activities
- ✅ Lead execution of Electrical & IT scopes across fabrication, MC, pre-commissioning & commissioning
- ✅ Supervise contractors/subcontractors to ensure compliance with project specs & international standards
- ✅ Review engineering deliverables and ensure constructability & technical compliance
- ✅ Identify progress/quality issues and implement corrective actions
- ✅ Monitor contractor progress reports and flag delays, risks & inefficiencies
- ✅ Coordinate closely with stakeholders for alignment & issue resolution
- ✅ Participate in risk assessments, technical meetings, and lessons learned (REX)
- ✅ Ensure complete and accurate project documentation & dossiers
- 🎓 Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Science
- 🛢 Minimum 8+ years in Oil & Gas construction projects
- 👷 At least 1 year in a supervisory/lead role
- ✅ Strong experience in fabrication, installation, and completion phases
- Knowledge of project execution methodologies & construction techniques
- Experience with yard operations, offshore/onshore facilities
- Understanding of design codes, standards, and safety requirements
- Familiarity with LNG / sour gas project environments
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
