Hiring: Construction Lead (CP8S Electrical & IT)
Location: Sohar, Oman

  • ⏱ 8–10 Hours/Day
Job Purpose
We are looking for an experienced Construction Lead (Electrical & IT) to manage EPC contractor execution for CP Topsides compression projects. The role focuses on ensuring safe, high-quality, and timely delivery of electrical and IT scopes while driving alignment between company and contractor teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • ✅ Ensure strict adherence to HSE standards during fabrication activities
  • ✅ Lead execution of Electrical & IT scopes across fabrication, MC, pre-commissioning & commissioning
  • ✅ Supervise contractors/subcontractors to ensure compliance with project specs & international standards
  • ✅ Review engineering deliverables and ensure constructability & technical compliance
  • ✅ Identify progress/quality issues and implement corrective actions
  • ✅ Monitor contractor progress reports and flag delays, risks & inefficiencies
  • ✅ Coordinate closely with stakeholders for alignment & issue resolution
  • ✅ Participate in risk assessments, technical meetings, and lessons learned (REX)
  • ✅ Ensure complete and accurate project documentation & dossiers
Qualifications & Experience
  • 🎓 Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Science
  • 🛢 Minimum 8+ years in Oil & Gas construction projects
  • 👷 At least 1 year in a supervisory/lead role
  • ✅ Strong experience in fabrication, installation, and completion phases
Key Skills
  • Knowledge of project execution methodologies & construction techniques
  • Experience with yard operations, offshore/onshore facilities
  • Understanding of design codes, standards, and safety requirements
  • Familiarity with LNG / sour gas project environments
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
