Senior Construction Manager – Electrical Location: Nevada
Overview The Senior Construction Manager is responsible for leading electrical construction activities on large-scale industrial projects from preconstruction through commissioning. This role partners closely with project management, engineering, procurement, operations, and maintenance teams to deliver projects safely, on schedule, and within budget.
This individual oversees multiple field teams, manages equipment and material coordination, and ensures execution aligns with design specifications, project milestones, and operational requirements. Experience supporting both electrical and mechanical scopes—particularly in industrial or MEP environments—is essential.

This individual oversees multiple field teams, manages equipment and material coordination, and ensures execution aligns with design specifications, project milestones, and operational requirements. Experience supporting both electrical and mechanical scopes—particularly in industrial or MEP environments—is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead electrical construction activities across multiple projects
- Oversee field teams, including superintendents and skilled trades
- Develop and maintain project schedules, staffing plans, and resource allocations
- Coordinate material procurement, equipment needs, and installation activities
- Ensure compliance with safety programs through regular site reviews and participation in safety meetings
- Monitor project progress, budget, and performance against established goals
- Identify and resolve constructability, design, and scheduling conflicts
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure project alignment and execution
- Support contract management, procurement strategies, and dispute resolution
- Lead project closeout, including documentation, reporting, and post-project reviews
- 20+ years of construction experience, with 15+ years leading field personnel
- Strong background in electrical construction, including hands-on trade and supervisory experience
- Proven ability to manage multiple crews and scopes (electrical and mechanical preferred)
- Experience with industrial construction, plant environments, or shutdown coordination
- Demonstrated success driving safety, schedule, and productivity performance
- Proficiency with construction management software (e.g., Procore) and scheduling tools (e.g., Primavera P6)
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage risk, budgets, and cross-functional teams effectively
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field preferred
- Combination of field and office environments, including exposure to varying weather conditions
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and navigate active construction sites
- Flexibility to work extended hours, weekends, or be on call as needed
